This 7-minute pajama workout is a great way to start off your day with some healthy exercise!
Getting more movement into your day is a worthy goal for the new year. Many studies have shown that the more you move throughout the day – even if it’s not done all in one block of time – the healthier you are.
If your schedule is too busy to head to the gym for an hour every day, you can have the same impact on your health by doing short workouts in the morning and evening, and walking, stretching, and moving in small bursts throughout your day.
This 7-minute workout is a good example of a quick workout that you can do first thing in the morning, even before you’re out of your pajamas! You don’t even need shoes, but you will want to have a pair of light dumbells handy if possible to get the most benefits for your muscles. You can also use water bottles, or do the workout without weights if desired. The pajama workout consists of 10 exercises, done in 30-second intervals, with 15 seconds of rest in between.
