[Workout Wednesday] 30-Minute HIIT Bodyweight Workout

Ready for an intense workout that will get you in shape fast? This high-intensity bodyweight workout incorporates both strength training and cardio for fast results!
Bodyweight training has become quite popular over the past few years, as it helps you get a great workout no matter where you are, since it requires no equipment, and you don’t have to go to a gym to do it. It also allows for creativity of movement that is often lacking when using weight machines, so it is easy to make your workouts more fun and interesting!
The HIIT workout below is a great example. This unique high-intensity interval training workout features bodyweight exercises you may never have seen before, and it works your upper body, lower body, and core – along with great cardio benefits – all in just 30 minutes.
The workout consists of 5 sets of 4 strength exercises each to work all areas of your body. Each exercise is done for 40 seconds each, followed by 20 seconds of squat spins (cardio). You will rest for 20 seconds between each set.
You don’t need any equipment, although you may want a mat, and a 5-minute warmup is included. With all the movement and variety in this quick-moving and intense bodyweight workout, your 30 minutes will be over before you know it!
