[Workout Wednesday] 18-Minute Bodyweight Core & Lower Body Home Workout

A great quick workout for your lower body & core that you can do anywhere – no equipment required!

This quick workout will challenge and tone your core, strengthen the muscles in your lower body, and burn calories – all in under 20 minutes! This is a bodyweight workout so it requires no equipment, making it a great one to do while traveling (maybe on spring break?) or wherever you may be.

This class utilizes a combination of cardio, Pilates, and bodyweight exercises to strengthen the legs, butt, thighs, and core muscles. It is suitable for all levels, and you can always make it more challenging if you like by picking up the pace, or by adding your own resistance with resistance bands, ankle weights, or dumbbells.

The workout consists of 50 second intervals of exercises, with 10 seconds of rest between each interval. Be aware that this workout does not include a warmup or cool down, so you will want to add those on your own – or try these:
