Pilates is a great way to tone and strengthen your entire body, with a particular focus on the core. While some Pilates classes involve complex Pilates equipment, my favorite type of Pilates exercise is a mat workout – which requires no equipment at all. All you need for this one is a yoga mat, and you will tone your abs and core, glutes, hamstrings, and more – all in less than 20 minutes. The 17-minute circuit includes a sequence of effective Pilates exercises that will help you achieve a lean, toned, and strong body right in your own living room!

This Pilates mat workout is suitable for all levels of fitness, but be sure to follow the suggested modifications if you are a beginner. As always, listen to your body, and modify as needed to stay safe – Pilates can be an intense workout!
