If you’ve ever done a few sets of jumping jacks, you know how quickly this form of exercise can elevate your heart rate and heat up the body. In fact, jumping is one of the most cardiovascular-intensive exercises, which is why it’s a great addition to home cardio workouts. Since it is also a bodyweight exercise, you can do it anywhere, anytime, with no special equipment required! (If you really wanted to, you could add some hand or ankle weights, but most people shouldn’t need to.)
