Foodie Friday Recipe: Roasted Cauliflower With Turmeric

Consuming turmeric is a great way to fight inflammation naturally. This simple and delicious recipe is fast and easy to make, and packed with healthy benefits.
As we discussed on Monday, chronic inflammation is a major cause of many modern diseases. Luckily, you can fight inflammation with a healthy diet that includes plenty of anti-inflammatory foods.
Turmeric is one of the best natural anti-inflammatories, and it lends a beautiful color and a spicy flavor to many dishes.
In fact, according to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), the active ingredient in turmeric (curcumin) may have anti-inflammatory, anticancer, and antioxidant properties.
Cauliflower also has it’s own set of healthy properties. For example, cauliflower is packed with vitamin C and potassium. And for those seeking a gluten-free grain replacement, its neutral flavor and hearty texture makes it a good choice for many dishes.
