Keto Cinnamon Bun Mug Cake Recipe

Serves: 1
Time: 12 minutes


For the cinnamon swirl:
2 tablespoons Swerve Brown Sugar Replacement
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon water

For the cake:
3 tablespoons Thrive Market Almond Flour
1 tablespoon Thrive Market Organic Coconut Flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon cinnamon
⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon Swerve Brown Sugar Replacement
1 large egg
1 tablespoon milk of choice
1 tablespoon coconut oil

For the icing:
1 to 2 teaspoons Swerve Confectioners Sugar Replacement
1 tablespoon milk of choice


Make the cinnamon swirl:
Whisk all ingredients in a small bowl.

Make the cake:
Whisk almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar in a large, microwave-safe mug. Add egg, milk, and oil; whisk until combined. Pour the cinnamon swirl on top of the batter and gently stir (don’t fully mix). Microwave on high for 1 minute and 15 seconds. Remove and let sit 2 minutes before icing.

Make the icing:
Whisk the sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth. Drizzle over the cake before serving.
