[Foodie Friday Recipe] Fruity Morning Gorilla Smoothie

This colorful and fruit-forward “gorilla” smoothie will be a hit with the kids, and will give your morning an antioxidant punch to start off the day!

We kicked off this month of healthy beverages with a tasty superfood-packed smoothie, and we’re finishing it off with another one. This simple and delicious smoothie is filled with lots of fruit for plenty of healthy antioxidants – hence its fun name! It will also give you an energy boost to start off your day, and even the kids will enjoy the fruity flavors and bright colors of this tasty treat.

Feel free to substitute different flavors of yogurt as well as your favorite fruits to mix it up a bit.

Fruity Morning Gorilla Smoothie Recipe

Prep Time: 10 min.
Serves: 4


  • 1 c grape juice
  • 1 c Stonyfield Organic Banilla Yogurt (or other organic banana and/or vanilla yogurt)
  • 1/2 c carrot juice
  • 1 c frozen strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 c chopped pineapple (fresh or canned and drained)


Using a blender, blend all ingredients for 20 seconds. Enjoy immediately.
