[Foodie Friday Recipe] Collagen Berry Smoothie (Keto-Approved)

Enjoy this healthy collagen berry smoothie as a delicious and filling snack or keto-friendly meal replacement…
While you may have to give up some familiar carb-filled “comfort foods” on the keto diet, the good news is, there are plenty of delicious alternatives that will keep you feeling full and satisfied! One of the characteristics of keto is that you can eat plenty of healthy fats and protein, so you won’t feel hungry and everything will taste satisfying and delicious.
This smoothie is a great example. While many smoothies taste delicious, often they are filled with mostly fruit juice and ice, so they spike your blood sugar and leave you feeling tired and hungry an hour later. Adding protein powder can help, but some of these powders have questionable ingredients and often don’t taste so great – at least in my opinion.
This keto-approved smoothie recipe is packed with nutrients to provide long-lasting energy and keep you satisfied for hours, and it’s delicious too! The collagen is a healthy addition that helps keep your internal tissues healthy, and also promotes healthy skin, hair, and nails. Berries provide antioxidants and vitamins, and the pecans add healthy fats and protein. Oh yeah, and it also has vegetables. This is basically a keto meal in a blender! 🙂
