Enjoy a healthy and happy holiday season with this potent natural antibiotic superfood!

The holidays are on the way, and festivities are in the air! Unfortunately, that’s not all that’s in the air… With the arrival of cold weather comes the onslaught of cold and flu germs. Especially in colder climates, we end up trapped inside with other people and stale air, leading to contagion. There are a number of things you can do to boost your immune system and protect yourself, and one of the best natural antibiotic remedies is probably sitting in your pantry right now…

I’m talking, of course, about the miraculous healing powers of garlic! Or at least, that’s how some see it. Garlic is becoming well-known as a powerful natural antibiotic “superfood.”

One recent study found that a compound made of garlic and several other natural ingredients killed 90% of Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) – a highly dangerous antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Other research has revealed a number of other ways that garlic may function as a powerful disease fighter, according to BeWellBuzz.com:

  • The bacteria known as Helicobacter Pylori infects most of the world’s digestive tract. When it is allowed to grow unchecked it can lead to stomach ulcers and stomach cancer, and unfortunately for some people, it is untreatable with modern medications in about 20% of cases. Thankfully, recent research has found that garlic is able to inhibit the growth of this bacteria when all else has failed.
  • One of the most common and widespread commercial medical disinfectants used to disinfect skin prior to surgery is called chlorhexidine. Garlic has been found to be just as effective as chlorhexidine, and so far, seems to create much less resistance than modern antibiotic formulations.
  • Sepsis infections slowly progress from an initially mild infection of a wound to something much more severe and ultimately to septic shock syndrome which can easily lead to death. Garlic has been found through in vivo research to effectively boost the immune system and stop the progression of this infection before it’s too late.
